Long Concrete Lined Tunnel
Köprüyanı HPP is a diversion type hydropower facility which makes use of the head between 702 m and 527 m of Değirmen Creek. The construction of the project commenced in 2013 and the HPP started commercial activity in February 2015.
Köprüyanı HPP mainly consists of weir structures, a 2 850 m long concrete lined tunnel, a forebay, a 243 m long penstock and a powerhouse. The project located downstream of Mavi HPP, (also previously designed by Prosem) works in a cascade with a connection canal from the tailrace of Mavi HPP to conveyance tunnel of Köprüyanı HPP. The project has similar characteristics as Mavi HPP.
